dry eyes

Dry eye is a complex condition than can be difficult to properly diagnose and manage.  It is a widespread and common issue for up to 49 million Americans. This chronic condition can have a significant impact on your quality of life, causing foreign body sensation in your eyes, pain, blurry vision, and dry or watery eyes.

Despite these constant detrimental effects on quality of life, many dry eye sufferers are not aware that they’re suffering from dry eye disease or that real treatments exist. Instead, they just live with the discomfort.
From daily pain after using your eye drops, to waiting months just to see a slight improvement, it can be a lot to handle. But more than that, if your symptoms go unchecked, your dry eye can get worse over time and can lead to further eye health complications.
